Marjoram is comprised of grayish-green leaves and is a member of the mint family. It is a cousin of oregano with a milder, sweeter flavor. Used as a spice, it finds application in stews, soups, stuffing, lamb, vegetables, and cottage cheese. It loses flavor in cooking and must be added last.
