It is useful in building surfactant cleansing formulations such as shampoos, body washes, liquid soaps, facial cleansers and especially sulfate-free systems. Neutralized dispersions of Synthalen® W600 are clear and characterized by high yield value and pseudoplastic behavior. In surfactant formulations it begins to build viscosity at lower pH depending on surfactant chemistry, concentration and array.
